September through June Sunday Morning Youth Café On Sunday mornings, middle and high school youth can attend a Sunday school class just for them at 10 a.m. in the Lounge. This is a time to dive deeper into your faith and fellowship with other youth. Middle School Youth Group All 6th-8th graders and their friends are invited on Sunday nights. The evening starts with a light supper at a cost of $3 per week. This weekly gathering is high energy and offers creative and relevant messages. In addition to being a large event that is packed full of fun and hang time with friends, the students participate in service projects to assist the congregation and the missions of the Church. This group allows recent Confirmands to continue their faith journey through Bible study, worship, drama, and fellowship. The Sunday evening program will follow last year's Confirmation format with class time from 5:00-6:00 p.m., dinner 6:00-6:30 p.m. and youth group 6:30-7:30 p.m. There is a fee of $50 for the year, or $3 per evening, to cover the cost of meals. Small Group Art Night Be ready to mix it up to work together with your peers to create projects for all to enjoy! Special Events Throughout the year, middle school students have several special events that allow them the opportunity to fellowship with other students. Look for the latest details in the e-mail blasts sent out during the month, the Evangel (our church bulletin) or this Web site. Worship Participation Acolytes and microphone ushers serve the church on a rotation basis from mid-September through early June. Acolytes carry the cross and Bible into the worship services and lights the candles on the Lord’s Table. Microphone ushers assist with joys and concerns at the 9 a.m. worship service. We invite anyone who has an interest in music to join any of the ensembles listed below or contact the church office if you need additional information. Watch the evangel or church website for these regularly scheduled ensembles which will perform periodically during Sunday morning worship services throughout the year.
