Worship Help with Worship

We need your help on Sunday mornings!

Carry in the Light of Christ

Youth in 4th through 8th grades are invited to serve in the worship service as acolytes. Please contact Rev. Ravi for more information.

Sponsor Altar Flowers

Sponsoring altar flowers, in honor or memory of a loved one or event, is a beautiful tradition at St. Paul's. Altar flowers may be picked up after the worship service, or we have volunteers who deliver them to our homebound or hospitalized, carrying the love and prayers of worship with them.

There are open Sundays to sponsor altar flowers throughout 2009. The cost is $36.00 per arrangement.

If you would like to participate in this flower ministry, please contact Flo Alling.  Get her contact information from the Church office.

Are you a people-person? We need you to greet!

One of the most important ministries at St. Paul’s involves the hospitality we offer each person who comes to worship on Sunday mornings. For some, ours may be the only smile or acknowledgement they receive all day. The St. Paul’s Greeter Ministry is seeking people who have quick smiles, enjoy making connections with lots of people and are willing to greet at a worship service for four Sundays a year.

We’re looking for teens, couples, singles, families and retirees … anyone who feels called. If you have this gift of hospitality, we will provide training, encouragement and fellowship. Please … join us! Contact Rev. Ravi for more information.

“Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them.” – Matthew 11:4-5

Ushers

Ushering is a very important part of our Sunday Worship. We need 10 ushers for each service every Sunday. We are looking for some new faces.

Ushering assignments are usually done on a monthly basis. Please check your schedule and see if there is a month that you could be of assistance. Contact Roger Roller if you can help out or make a notation on the green friendship pads in the pew racks.

SOUND & Light ministries

Volunteers are needed to operate the sound and light system during worship and special events. No experience necessary; training provided. Contact the Church office at (248) 651-9361 for information.
