Middle School Ministry

The middle school ministry is for youth ages 6th-8th grade and includes Sunday morning Sunday school, our mid-week ministry (360º), Confirmation, Bible studies (LOGOS), special events, and retreats.

Sunday Morning
On Sunday mornings, middle school youth can addend a Sunday school class just for them at either 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.  Each hour presents a new and different lesson.  the 10 a.m. class is in Room 125 and the 11 a.m. class is in the Lounge and starts after the children and youth are dismissed from the worship service.

360º and LOGOS
On Wednesday nights, middle school youth gather in the Lounge at 5 p.m. for 360º.  360º is a high energy ministry that includes games, worship, fellowship, fun, and a practical message that relates to your life.  After 360º is over, all youth have the opportunity to join LOGOS and stay for dinner at 6 p.m.  After dinner, 7th grade youth gather for Confirmation, while 6gh grade and 8th grade youth have separate small group discipleship opportunities.  360º  and LOGOS will begin on September 26 and run for 24 weeks following the Rochester schools calendar for vacations and snow days.

Special Events
Throughout the year, middle school students have several special events that allow them the opportunity to fellowship with other students.  Special events include a Beg Barbecue Bonanza on September 9, Crop Walk on October 14, a fall lock-in on November 10-11, a winter retreat on March 1-2, and an end-of-the-year party on May 18.  Look for the latest details in the email blasts sent out on the first and third Tuesday of the Month.

Worship Participation
Acolytes and microphone ushers serve the church on a rotation basis from mid-September through early June.  Acolytes carry the cross and Bible into the worship service and light the candles on the Lord's Table at both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.  Microphone ushers assist with joys and concerns at the 9 a.m. service.

X-treme Week
The first full week of August provides many great opportunities for middle school youth.  There is a golf camp, VBS volunteer positions, and a trip to Red Oaks Water Park.  don't miss out on this great week of summer fun!

High School Ministries

The high school ministry is for youth ages 9th-12th grade and includes Sunday morning Sunday school, our Sunday evening youth group, small group studies (LOGOS), special events, and retreats.

Sunday Morning
On Sunday mornings, high school youth can attend a Sunday school class just for them at 10 a.m. in the Lounge.  This is a time to dive deeper into your faith and fellowship with other youth.

Youth Group
On Sunday nights, from 6-7 p.m., high school youth gather in the Lounge for youth group.  This weekly gathering is high energy and offers creative and relevant messages.  In addition to being a place where students learn each week what it means to follow Jesus, this large event is packed full of fun and hang time with friends.  Youth group meets from September through May.

Mid-week Small Groups (LOGOS)
Each Wednesday, from 6-7:30 p.m., students can grow closer in their relationship with God and others through LOGOS.  Youth are divided by grade to discuss topics in a smaller setting and can share honestly their questions about the Christian faith and god's word.  the evening starts with dinner at 6 p.m., followed by small group time at 6:45 p.m.  LOGOS will begin on September 26 and run for 24 weeks following the Rochester schools calendar for vacation and snow days.

Worktrip
Each summer, high school students have the opportunity to go on a week-long mission trip, where you can make a real difference!  Students have the time of their life, meet new friends, and deepen their current friendships.  Youth from St. Paul's join 400 other youth from around the country, of all denominations, and are put into work crews of 5-6 people.  These crews work on homes for disadvantaged people in the community.  The work generally consists of winterizing homes, painting, and light carpentry.  This is an amazing opportunity for all youth and their friends.  Worktrip meetings and fundraising kick off in September.

X-treme Week
The first full week of August provides many great opportunities for high school youth to volunteer with their own church family.  Vacation Bible School has many volunteer positions for youth to be leaders in music, games, and snacks or in a crew.  Plus, there is an end-od-the-week trip to Red Oaks Water Park.  don't miss out on this great week of summer fun!
