Adult Spiritual Growth Opportunities
2007-2008 Theme:  Journey for a Lifetime

The mission of St. Paul’s Adult Education is:
Inner growth leading to outward change.

Our goal is to provide an accepting, compassionate, trustworthy environment where people get to know each other and grow in their faith.  Together, we can discover new ways to put faith into action in all relationships, bringing “Love God and love thy neighbor as thyself” into reality, step by step.

This year, in addition to receiving the brochure, people may obtain a "Passport" designed to help us put our own personal action plan into place.  These passports were distributed following worship on September 9.  They are available in the Kiosk and on tables in the Education Wing.

If there is an additional group that would be helpful to you, we would like to know!
Please call the Church office.

Class Schedules:

New class schedules are published in September, Advent, January, Lent, and Summer.
Watch for the Fall Spiritual Growth Opportunities Brochure
as well as special seasonal Evangels for further details.
To get your name on the Church mailing list or for further questions,
please call the Church office at 248-651-9361.

Supporting and encouraging parents is a very important part of our adult ministries.
We offer ways to improve our "Journey for a Lifetime" through modeling acceptance, respect,
and trustworthiness in all our relationships,
beginning with our families!

If Sunday morning is a good time for you for a parenting group,
be sure to check out the Sunday morning groups.

Join us to meet new people and help select our topics for the upcoming months.
Coordinators:  Keith Loebs and Lori & Ken Halliwill

Parenting with Love and Logic
Offered periodically - watch for dates

This seven-week class will help you enhance your skills by discovering new ways to parent with the long-term goal of raising responsible adults.  The push to "perfection" dissipates and faith grows as each "problem" becomes an opportunity to help your child of any age make choices and discover positive life lessons.  Best of all, these techniques work for all relationships!  Workbooks ($5) available at the first class.

FOR "OLDER ADULTS"

Young-At-Heart Adults (YAHAs)

This group of young-at-heart retirees meets in Hickey Hall for lunch and a program, usually on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  All seniors (couples and singles) are invited to come and share this time of friendship and relaxation.  The meal is provided for a small fee.  Reservations can be made by calling the church office.  Watch the Evangel for details.  Contact the Church office (248-651-9361).

Family Life: Weekly topical Discussions
 10:10-10:50 a.m., Parlor

Check topics and activities at the  Family Life Website Come grow with us.  We look forward to seeing you!
