CHILD CARE MINISTRY

We have a  Reservation Hotline to help us serve your needs.  During office hours please call the church office (248-651-9361) and ask for the reservation hotline and after hours simply dial ext. 114.

Child Care reservations can be made for classes and choirs that meet on Wednesday or Thursday from 9:30-11 am. or 7-9 p.m.

Reservations for Wednesday classes and choirs are due by 3 p.m. Monday, and reservations for Thursday classes and choirs are due by 3 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Sunday Morning Child Care (fall through spring): Child care is offered during the 9:00 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services for children ages infant to three-years-old in the Infant and Toddler Nurseries. Care is provided by a paid staff member and parent volunteers. 

Child care is also offered in both the Infant and Toddler nurseries during the 10:00 hour for children ages infant to four-years-old.

All are welcome and no reservations are needed for Sunday mornings.

 
Parents with children in the program are required to volunteer two Sundays per quarter!  Sign-up sheets are posted outside the Nurseries.  Your participation insures the level of consistent child care you have com to expect and depend upon!
Summer Sunday Morning Child Care:  During summer 10 a.m. worship service, Child care is provided the for children ages infant to three-years-old in the Infant and Toddler Nurseries.  All are welcome to use the nurseries on Sunday mornings and we ask that those who attend regularly to please sing up to help at least two Sundays per quarter.  Sign-up sheets are located outside the Infant and Toddler Nurseries.  Contact Carole Welbaum if interested.

Wednesday:  Childcare is available in the Toddler Nursery from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for scheduled Adult classes. 
 

Choir Rehearsal Child Care:  Chancel Choir Rehearsal: Please call the Reservation Hotline.

Child care is available on Thursday evenings from 7:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Toddler Nursery for the Wesley Handbell Choir rehearsal. Care is provided by at least two adults.  Please call the Reservation Hotline to make a reservation for the choir season.

UMW Events/Meetings:  Childcare is available for some events and meetings.  Check your schedule.

Where reservations are necessary, it is important to call the Reservation Hotline, 248-651-9361 ext. 114.  It would be appreciated to cancel your reservation as soon as possible if you find that you will not be needing child care.  A count of the children requiring care is needed to provide an adequate number of sitters.
