April 24, 2020: As part of our Night of 100 Blessings service project that we participated in during youth group this year, the middle schoolers came up with a couple creative ways to give during this pandemic. To honor the first responders, the students gave the Rochester Fire Department a gift card for pizza. They are hoping the EMTs will enjoy a break from all their hard work and relax with a yummy dinner.
The students were also inspired by the quilters from St. Paul’s who are making masks for folks in our community. The middle schoolers donated money for this group to purchase material for additional masks.
