JANUARY: CELEBRATING FAMILIES
HUGS is PAUSING for January 12 and 19 and will not meet in person but on Zoom.
HUGS Meetings & Monthly Mission: We’ll continue to meet indoors in the Parlor unless noted otherwise. The Parlor is located at the front of the building as you walk in the main door. We’ll continue to meet from 9:30-11:15 am. Our mission this month is replenishing the food at the Rochester Area Neighborhood House Food Pantry (1315 N. Pine, Rochester 48307 RANH Food Pantry). They’re always depleted after the holiday season. We’ll check the web site and see what they need to restock the shelves. We’ll collect items each week in January. Please note: If the Rochester Schools are closed for weather-related reasons, HUGS is cancelled as well.
12 MUGS & HUGS: OFF CAMPUS Sue’s house (4657 Fawn Hill Court) (sue’s cell: 248-672-1004). The school-age set is likely basking in the afterglow of a great Christmas break but exhausted from all the merriment. So let’s plan on meeting up for casual conversation and well-deserved rest and relaxation. Feel free to pop in at 9:30 and staying til 11:00 (to plan for the ½ day school dismissal). I still have assorted toys and coloring supplies, so please feel free to bring the infant/toddler set along this morning! Please feel welcome to come whether this is the first time you’ve been to HUGS or whether you are a seasoned veteran!

We can discuss ways to keep the morale strong in your homes as the kiddos (and their parents) develop cabin fever. . . .
